At Acute XR, we’re led by a team of innovators, technologists, and mental health advocates united by a shared mission: to transform therapy through the power of immersive technology.
Our Founders
Our founders have each experienced their fair share of trauma and mental health conditions and found solace in both therapy and video games. They also met each other in 2012 playing an online video game, kicking ass together and found out soon after that they lived close to each other, sparking a lifelong friendship and eventually leading them to put their unique talents and experiences together and form Acute XR.


Andreas is a VR developer and senior game design-er, who has shipped multiple successful titles, such as Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, published papers on new game design methodologies and is always searching for the next big thing in game design innovation.
Dominik is a writer, filmmaker and serial social entrepreneur. He received the European Citizens Prize for his multilingual online magazine Euro Babble and has most recently worked on EA’s FC 24.
Dominik blends creative, policy and business acumen to form big picture visions and strategies.
