Getting Started
How do I install Calm Quest?

What are the minimum required specifications for Calm Quest?
- Any Windows PC that was released in the last 5 years should run the game. No gaming PC with a dedicated GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) is required. Slightly older PCs with dedicated graphics processing units (Nvidia or AMD) may also be able to run it.
- A Quest VR headset. The game is designed to run on Meta Quest 3 and 3S. Existing owners of Meta Quest 2 platforms can also run Calm Quest on it. The game has not been tested on Meta Quest Pro.
- A heart rate monitor wrist- or chestband capable of reading RR intervals and which uses an open Bluetooth standard. We recommend the Coospoo HW9 heart rate monitor.
Can I use a different VR headset?
- At launch no other VR headsets are supported. Expect to see support for other models in the future. We chose the Meta Quest line due to its unbeatable performance to price ratio.
Can I use a Mac or Chromebook?
- Mac support is coming very soon. You will need a sufficiently new Mac (M2 processor or later).
- ChromeOS is currently not supported. If you would like to see ChromeOS support, please let us know.
- Android support will be added at a later time.
Session Use
How do I calibrate the heart rate monitor?
- The sensor is calibrated with the click of a button at startup. Just follow the on-screen instructions. The sensor will recalibrate itself over the course of a session to improve its output, so do not worry if the readings should not be entirely accurate right away.
Can I pause or restart a session?
- You can pause a session for a few minutes, but please be aware that you cannot pause indefinitely and resume a session without ever having to pay for another.
- If you are experiencing technical difficulties, you can reconnect without having to log a new session.

Troubleshooting
My headset isn’t showing up in the device list.
- Make sure both the headset and your PC/Mac are on the same Wifi network.
- If you still cannot see your device, make sure to disable any VPN services you may have running in the background on your computer as they can cause connectivity issues.
The heart rate monitor won’t connect — help?
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your computer and that the heart rate sensor is activated and properly attached to the patient’s body.
Game is laggy or unresponsive — what can I check?
- Does your computer meet the minimum requirements to run the game?
- Make sure not to run other programs in the background that might impede your computer’s ability to run the game.
- In most cases, a simple restart is enough to fix any unresponsiveness issues.
Billing & Accounts
Where do I update my payment information?
- Log into your Stripe account where you first set up your billing information and simply modify it there to update it.
How do I cancel or modify my subscription?
- You are only charged for your usage. To stop being charged simple cease using Calm Quest.
- Should you wish to permanently remove your account data, you can do so via the Stripe account management page.
Can I transfer my license to another therapist?
- Transferring accounts is not possible, as they are assigned to your business registration details. There is however a referral program in place through which you can share some free sessions with your colleagues.
