Every year, Poets & Quants, the world’s oldest and most qualitative business school publication creates its own rankings of MBA programs across the world. In addition, it also spotlights professors and students, who have accomplished much in their lives and careers. In recent years, P&Q has begun shining a light on the entrepreneurship ecosystems across business schools. As part of this effort, they name 41 startups created by MBA graduates which have the biggest potential to succeed and disrupt the market. We are very proud and honored that Acute XR was named among this year’s list of most disruptive MBA startups. In the below article you can read about our CEO’s entrepreneurial journey during his MBA studies.
The award also highlights just how supportive the business school ecosystem can be. Professors from ESADE Business School have shared the news on their social media profiles, garnering thousands of views from their former students and colleagues, including investors and professionals in our sector. The eWorks ecosystem also shared the news with its newsletter subscribers, reaching even more entrepreneurs and investors in Europe.
State-side, we received many congratulations from our accelerator Health Wildcatters and the University of Virginia’s Darden Business School and its Batten Institute. Most recently we were also featured on the Darden Blog, commemorating our award as well as the award given to our dear friends at CoFund.
This is not the first time we were featured on the Darden blog and we hope it will not be the last, as we continue to grow. The greatest joy for us has not been the award itself, but the many messages of support we received from across the globe. It really means something when you work hard each day and receive some kind words of encouragement to keep you going.
